A Lot Of Music To Be Thankful For

Another great week of gigs

This year has brought so much music to my family that I'm filled with joy. I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to make music with so many like-minded musicians and to share that joy with so many eager students every week. I hope you have a chance to scroll through the list of the coming week of gigs and stop by one of them if you're in the area.

Trumpeter Josh Evans has performed in the bands of and recorded with an extraordinary list of artists, including Jackie McLean, Cedar Walton, Rashied Ali, and Gregory Porter. For one night at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, Evans brings his Big Band to perform his arrangements of standards and originals. This currently unrecorded band features an exciting combination of well-established players and up-and-coming musicians, and we cannot wait to hear what they bring to the scene.
